Frode Thingns was a Norwegian jazz composer, arranger, conductor, trombone player, married onJune 1979 to actor and drama teacher Marianne Mrk and they gave birth to the pianist Magnus Alexander Mrk Thingns , and Filmstudent, Maren Victoria Thingns. He formed the quintet Frode Thingns Quintet.
